Do you think you had the flu? Is there a possibility that you may have had a cold instead? Is there a doubt in your mind that it’s actually the flu?
I’m going to help you to understand the difference between “thinking you had the flu” and actually having the flu. All of this, without the inconvenient and pricy doctor’s office visit.
Here’s an analogy that will clarify everything for you. Have you ever had a moment when you’re driving your car and felt something was a little “off”? Then you found yourself thinking, “Do I have a flat tire? Could that be a flat? Can I make it to the next exit and then check?” The majority of us have had a “do-I-have-a-flat?” moment. Trust me; if you actually had a flat tire, there would be no “can I make it to a gas station” train of the thought. You’d know it. You’d be saying, “Darn it. I have a flat. This so sucks.” Etc… You’ll have bits of tire shooting off of your rim, smoke pouring out from behind you. You have a flat. See? There is a rather large difference between, “thinking you have a flat” and actually having a flat.
If you have the flu, the only doubt you’ll experience is if whether or not you’ll live.
By the way, my bill is in the mail. I promise, it’s still less than what your doctor will charge you.
